Kate obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Simon Fraser University in 2005 and graduated with Distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Kate is married with one daughter and has a mischievous black cat named Makita. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors fishing, gardening, camping and cycling.
